扎美寺是宁蒗彝族自治县藏传佛教（黄教）寺院。它东面与噶木山遥相对应，建于明朝嘉靖年间，建筑雄伟壮丽，藏式庙宇分正殿、偏殿、禅房等。寺庙外围有东、西、南三扇门。正殿流光溢彩、气势恢弘，有三丈金佛通连偏殿，满寺佛光辉映、气势非凡。
寺内壁画极富艺术性，各种宗教题材的绘画另人目不暇接，虽年代久远，但仍色调浓烈，充满了浓郁的印藏风格。
